Description

ANERGEN Tablet contains Levocetirizine dihydrochloride, which is a third-generation non-sedating antihistamine. It works by blocking H1 histamine receptors, preventing the action of histamine—a substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms. It is commonly prescribed for:

• Seasonal or perennial allergic rhinitis (sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose, itchy eyes)

• Chronic idiopathic urticaria (long-term hives and itching)

Dosage and administration depend on age, severity of symptoms, and medical condition. It is typically taken once daily, with or without food.

Precautions include avoiding alcohol and being cautious with activities requiring mental alertness, although levocetirizine is less sedating than earlier antihistamines.
