Description

Angicam LT Tablet is formulated to treat essential hypertension (primary high blood pressure) in adults. By combining Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, and Losartan, an angiotensin II receptor antagonist, it works through complementary mechanisms to relax blood vessels and reduce blood pressure.

This combination therapy is particularly beneficial for patients who require multiple medications to achieve optimal blood pressure control. It may also help in reducing the risk of stroke in patients with high blood pressure and left ventricular hypertrophy, and in slowing the progression of kidney disease in individuals with type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure.

Common side effects include:

• Swelling of ankles or feet

• Fatigue

• Upset stomach

Precautions:
