Description

Arpit 5mg Tablet is manufactured by Crescent Formulations Pvt. Ltd. It is primarily prescribed for:

• Schizophrenia: To alleviate symptoms such as hallucinations and delusions.

• Bipolar Disorder: To manage manic episodes.

• Major Depressive Disorder: As an adjunct to other antidepressants when the response is inadequate.

Arpit 5mg Tablet functions by stabilizing and blocking dopamine and serotonin receptors in the brain, preventing overactivity and controlling both positive symptoms (like hallucinations and delusions) and negative symptoms (such as lack of emotion and social withdrawal) of schizophrenia.

Common Side Effects:

• Drowsiness

• Headache

• Tiredness

• Akathisia (inability to sit still)

• Difficulty sleeping

• Light-headedness

• Indigestion

• Shaking

• Blurred vision

• Nausea

• Vomiting

• Anxiety

• Increased saliva production

Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and may resolve over time. However, if they persist or worsen, consult your doctor.

Precautions:

• Allergy: Avoid if allergic to Aripiprazole or any other components of the tablet.

• Elderly Patients: Use with caution in individuals over 65 years due to increased risk of adverse reactions such as dizziness and drowsiness.

• Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: Consult your doctor before use, as the medication may pose risks to the fetus or infant.

• Children: Not recommended for children under 15 years of age.

• Medical Conditions: Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, abnormal blood pressure, high cholesterol, seizures, involuntary muscle movements, ADHD, blood clots, or a history of stroke or heart attack.
