ARVAST F10MG

Description

ARVAST F 10MG is a lipid-lowering agent combining Atorvastatin (10 mg), a statin that reduces cholesterol production in the liver, and Fenofibrate, which lowers triglyceride levels and increases HDL cholesterol. It is prescribed for patients with mixed dyslipidemia or hyperlipidemia who are at risk for atherosclerosis, heart attack, or stroke. By working on different lipid pathways, this dual therapy offers enhanced lipid control compared to monotherapy.

This medication is generally taken once daily, with or without food. Liver function and lipid levels should be regularly monitored during treatment. It may cause side effects such as muscle pain, digestive issues, or liver enzyme elevation, and is not recommended in patients with liver disease, gallbladder problems, or severe kidney impairment.
