Description

Ascodex LS Junior Syrup is a combination medication designed to treat productive (wet) coughs in children. It contains:

• Levosalbutamol (0.5 mg/5 ml): A selective bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles, easing breathing.

• Ambroxol (15 mg/5 ml): A mucolytic agent that thins and loosens mucus in the airways, facilitating its clearance.

• Guaifenesin (50 mg/5 ml): An expectorant that increases the volume of fluid in the airways, reducing mucus stickiness and aiding its removal.

This syrup is commonly used to manage symptoms associated with conditions like bronchitis, bronchial asthma, and other respiratory disorders characterized by thick mucus and wheezing. It helps alleviate chest congestion, improves mucus clearance, and reduces coughing spasms.

Dosage should be determined by a healthcare professional based on the child’s age and condition. The syrup is typically administered with a measuring cup provided in the package.
