Description

Ascoril Tablets contain the following active ingredients:

• Terbutaline (2.5 mg): A bronchodilator that relaxes muscles in the airways, widening them to ease breathing.

• Bromhexine (8 mg): A mucolytic agent that thins and loosens mucus in the lungs, facilitating easier expulsion.

• Guaifenesin (100 mg): An expectorant that decreases the stickiness of mucus, aiding in its removal from the airways.

This combination effectively treats conditions like productive cough, chest congestion, and respiratory infections by improving mucus clearance and easing breathing. It is typically used in conditions such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) .
