ASTHAKIND-DX – SYP

Description

Asthakind-DX Syrup is a combination medicine used for the symptomatic relief of dry, irritating cough and associated cold symptoms. It contains:

• Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide: A cough suppressant that acts on the cough center in the brain to reduce the urge to cough.

• Phenylephrine Hydrochloride: A decongestant that shrinks blood vessels in the nasal passages to relieve congestion and stuffiness.

• Chlorpheniramine Maleate: An antihistamine that helps relieve symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, and watery eyes.

This syrup is typically used under medical supervision for dry, non-productive coughs, particularly those caused by colds, allergies, or throat irritation. It is not recommended for wet/productive coughs. Side effects may include drowsiness, dizziness, or dry mouth. Always follow your doctor’s dosage instructions.
