ATCHOL 40MG TABLET is a lipid-lowering agent that works by inhibiting the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, which plays a central role in the production of cholesterol in the liver. By reducing cholesterol synthesis, Atorvastatin helps lower levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol and triglycerides, while increasing high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol.

Therapeutic Uses:

  • Treatment of hypercholesterolemia (high cholesterol) and hypertriglyceridemia (high triglycerides).
