Description

Composition:

  • Atorvastatin (10 mg): A statin that inhibits HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme involved in cholesterol production in the liver. This leads to a decrease in LDL cholesterol and triglycerides, and an increase in HDL cholesterol.

  • Fenofibrate (160 mg): A fibrate that activates peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPARα), enhancing the breakdown of fatty acids and increasing HDL cholesterol levels.

Therapeutic Uses:

  • Management of hypercholesterolemia (high cholesterol) and hypertriglyceridemia (high triglycerides).

  • Reduction of cardiovascular risk in patients with dyslipidemia.

Dosage and Administration:

  • Take one tablet daily, preferably after meals, or as directed by your healthcare provider.
