Description

Composition:

• Amlodipine (5 mg): A calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, improving blood flow and reducing blood pressure.

• Atenolol (50 mg): A beta-blocker that decreases heart rate and the force of heart contractions, leading to lower blood pressure and reduced heart workload.

Therapeutic Uses:

• Management of hypertension (high blood pressure).

• Treatment of angina pectoris (chest pain).

• Reduction of the risk of heart attacks and strokes.

Dosage and Administration:

• Take one tablet daily, with or without food, as prescribed by your healthcare provider.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not crush or chew.

• Continue the medication as directed, even if you feel well, to maintain blood pressure control.

Common Side Effects:

• Headache

• Dizziness or lightheadedness

• Fatigue or tiredness

• Swelling of ankles or feet

• Slow heart rate (bradycardia)
