ATORSAVE D/10 – TAB

Description

Atorsave D 10 Tablet combines two active ingredients:

• Atorvastatin (10 mg): A statin medication that inhibits the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, leading to a decrease in cholesterol production in the liver. This action lowers levels of LDL (“bad” cholesterol) and triglycerides, while increasing HDL (“good” cholesterol).

• Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D₃, 1000 IU): A form of Vitamin D that supports calcium absorption and bone health. It also helps alleviate muscle pain associated with statin use.

Uses:

• Management of hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol levels).

• Prevention of cardiovascular events such as heart attack and stroke.

• Correction of Vitamin D₃ deficiency and associated bone disorders.

Dosage and Administration:

• Take one tablet daily, preferably with food.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not chew or crush.

• Follow the dosage and duration prescribed by your healthcare provider.

Common Side Effects:

• Nausea

• Headache

• Muscle pain or weakness

• Constipation

• Back pain

Precautions:

• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

• Use with caution in individuals with liver or kidney disease.
