Description

AUGPEN BD-625 Tablet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic composed of:

• Amoxicillin (500 mg) – a penicillin-type antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis.

• Clavulanic Acid (125 mg) – a beta-lactamase inhibitor that enhances the efficacy of amoxicillin by preventing bacterial resistance.

This powerful combination makes AUGPEN BD-625 effective against a wide variety of beta-lactamase-producing bacteria, providing a strong defense against common and resistant bacterial infections.

Indications (Uses):

AUGPEN BD-625 is used to treat:

• Respiratory tract infections (sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia)

• Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Dental infections and abscesses

• Ear, nose, and throat infections

• Bone and joint infections

Dosage & Administration:

• Route: Oral

• Typical Dosage: 1 tablet every 12 hours (or as prescribed by a doctor)

• Administration:

  • Take with food to improve absorption and reduce gastrointestinal upset

  • Swallow whole with water

  • Do not skip doses and complete the full course

Precautions:

• Avoid use in patients with a penicillin allergy

• Use cautiously in those with kidney or liver disorders
