BASUGINE Cartridge – Insulin Glargine 100 IU/mL for Steady, Long-Acting Glycemic Control
BASUGINE is a long-acting basal insulin containing Insulin Glargine 100 IU/mL, formulated for once-daily subcutaneous injection. It is used to improve glycemic control in adults and children with type 1 diabetes mellitus and in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The insulin provides a steady, peakless release over 24 hours, reducing the risk of nocturnal hypoglycemia.

The BASUGINE cartridge is intended for use with compatible reusable insulin pens, offering accurate and convenient insulin delivery.

• Composition:

  • Insulin Glargine (rDNA origin): 100 IU/mL

• Form: 3 mL cartridge (300 IU total)

• Indications:

  • Type 1 diabetes: In combination with short/rapid-acting insulin

  • Type 2 diabetes: Alone or with oral antidiabetic agents

• Dosage: Individualized; usually once daily at the same time each day

• Administration: Subcutaneous injection only (abdomen, thigh, upper arm)

• Storage:

  • Unopened cartridges: Refrigerate at 2°C–8°C

  • In-use cartridge: Store at room temperature (below 30°C) for up to 28 days
