Description

Benadryl CF (B) Syrup is formulated to address multiple symptoms associated with the common cold and allergies. The active ingredients work synergistically to:

• Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride (14.08 mg/5 ml): An antihistamine that reduces allergy symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes.

• Ammonium Chloride (138 mg/5 ml): An expectorant that helps loosen and thin mucus in the airways, facilitating easier breathing.

• Sodium Citrate (57.03 mg/5 ml): A mucolytic agent that further aids in breaking down mucus, making it less viscous.

• Ethanol (0.2625 ml/5 ml): Acts as a solvent and may have mild sedative effects.

Indications:

Benadryl CF (B) Syrup is used for:

• Relieving symptoms of cough and cold, including runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and throat irritation.

• Alleviating congestion and facilitating easier breathing.

Dosage and Administration:

• Adults and children over 12 years: 10–20 ml every 4–6 hours.

• Children 6–12 years: 5–10 ml every 4–6 hours.
