Description

Bilasure M Tablet is a prescription medication that combines two active ingredients: Bilastine and Montelukast. Bilastine is a second-generation antihistamine that selectively inhibits histamine H1 receptors, reducing symptoms such as sneezing, itching, and watery eyes associated with allergic reactions. Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist that reduces inflammation in the airways and nasal passages, helping to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis and chronic urticaria.

Uses

Bilasure M Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of:

• Allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial)

• Chronic urticaria (hives)

Dosage and Administration

• Recommended dosage: 20 mg/day (equivalent to 1 tablet)

• Administration: Once daily, preferably on an empty stomach, at least one hour before or two hours after meals.

• Tablet: Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not chew or crush.

• Duration: Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions regarding the duration of treatment.

Side Effects

Common side effects may include:

• Headache

• Drowsiness

• Dizziness

• Nausea

• Dry mouth
