Description

Brezatel CT 40 Tablet is a combination of two antihypertensive agents:

• Telmisartan (40 mg): An angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels, making it easier for the heart to pump blood.

• Chlorthalidone (12.5 mg): A thiazide-like diuretic that helps reduce excess salt and water in the body, lowering blood pressure.

Indications:

• Management of hypertension (high blood pressure).

• Reduction of the risk of stroke and heart attack.

Dosage and Administration:

• Take one tablet daily, as prescribed by your healthcare provider.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Can be taken with or without food.

Common Side Effects:

• Dizziness or lightheadedness.

• Nausea.

• Headache.

• Muscle cramps.

• Thirst.

• Stomach pain or discomfort.

• Vomiting.

• Loss of appetite.

Precautions:

• Use with caution in patients with kidney or liver disease.

• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

• Avoid alcohol consumption, as it may increase side effects.
