Description

BRGLIP 50 Tablet is an oral antidiabetic medication used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults. It contains Vildagliptin 50 mg, a Dipeptidyl Peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor.

Mechanism of Action:

Vildagliptin works by inhibiting the DPP-4 enzyme, which increases the levels of incretin hormones. These hormones stimulate insulin release and suppress glucagon secretion, leading to improved blood sugar control.

Indications:

• Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Dosage and Administration:

• Take one tablet daily, as prescribed by your healthcare provider.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Can be taken with or without food.

Common Side Effects:

• Headache

• Dizziness

• Nausea

• Fatigue

• Upper respiratory tract infection

Precautions:
