Description

Bromhexine Tablets contain Bromhexine Hydrochloride, an active ingredient that acts as a mucolytic and mucokinetic agent. It is commonly used to manage respiratory conditions associated with excessive mucus production, including:

• Chronic Bronchitis

• Asthma

• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

• Cystic Fibrosis

By breaking down the structure of mucus, Bromhexine reduces its viscosity, facilitating its removal from the respiratory tract and alleviating symptoms like cough and chest congestion.

Dosage:

• Adults and children over 12 years: 8 mg three times daily.

• Children aged 6–12 years: 4 mg three times daily.

• Children under 6 years: Use not recommended without medical advice.
