Description

Broncorex Expectorant is an oral syrup designed to manage productive coughs by thinning and loosening mucus in the respiratory tract. Its active ingredients work synergistically to improve mucus clearance and ease breathing:

• Guaifenesin (50 mg/5 ml): An expectorant that decreases the stickiness of mucus, aiding its removal from the airways.

• Terbutaline (1.25 mg/5 ml): A bronchodilator that relaxes the muscles in the airways, widening them and facilitating easier airflow.

• Bromhexine (4 mg/5 ml): A mucolytic agent that breaks down mucus, reducing its viscosity and promoting its clearance.

Uses:

• Relieves productive cough associated with asthma, chronic bronchitis, and COPD.

• Eases chest congestion and facilitates easier breathing.

• Reduces symptoms like wheezing and shortness of breath.

Dosage:

• Adults: 10 ml (2 teaspoons) three times daily.

• Children (6–12 years): 5–7.5 ml (1–1½ teaspoons) three times daily.

• Children (2–6 years): 2.5–5 ml (½–1 teaspoon) three times daily.

Side Effects:
