Description

Bro-Zedex LS Syrup is an oral medication used to manage productive cough and associated respiratory symptoms. It combines three active ingredients:

• Levosalbutamol (1 mg/5 ml): A bronchodilator that relaxes the smooth muscles in the airways, leading to widened air passages and improved airflow.

• Ambroxol (30 mg/5 ml): A mucolytic agent that thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough up.

• Guaifenesin (50 mg/5 ml): An expectorant that decreases the stickiness of mucus, aiding in its removal from the airways .

Uses:

• Treatment of productive cough associated with respiratory conditions such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

• Relief from symptoms like wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and difficulty in breathing .

Dosage:

• Adults: Typically, 5–10 ml of syrup 2–3 times daily, or as prescribed by a healthcare provider.

• Children: Dosage should be determined by a pediatrician based on age and weight.

Side Effects:
