Description

Brufen 200mg Tablet is an oral medication containing Ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is widely used to manage various conditions associated with pain and inflammation.

Mechanism of Action:

Ibuprofen works by inhibiting the activity of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, specifically COX-1 and COX-2. These enzymes are involved in the production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals in the body that promote inflammation, pain, and fever. By blocking COX enzymes, ibuprofen reduces the synthesis of prostaglandins, thereby alleviating pain and inflammation .

Side Effects:
