Description

Buscogast Tablets are formulated with Hyoscine Butylbromide 10 mg, an anticholinergic agent that works by relaxing smooth muscles in the gastrointestinal and urinary tracts. This action helps in relieving spasms, cramps, and associated discomfort.

Therapeutic Uses:

• Gastrointestinal Spasms: Alleviates cramps and discomfort in the stomach and intestines, often associated with conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

• Genitourinary Tract Spasms: Provides relief from bladder spasms, including those caused by kidney stones.

• Biliary Spasms: Eases pain related to the biliary system, such as biliary colic.

Dosage:

• Adults and Children Over 6 Years: Typically, 1 to 2 tablets taken three times daily. The exact dosage should be as prescribed by a healthcare professional.

• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water. It can be taken with or without food, as food does not affect its absorption.

Precautions:

• Contraindications: Not recommended for individuals with known hypersensitivity to Hyoscine Butylbromide or any other components of the tablet, myasthenia gravis, mechanical gastrointestinal obstruction, paralytic ileus, or megacolon.

• Pregnancy and Lactation: Use during pregnancy should be avoided unless absolutely necessary. Consult a healthcare provider before use during breastfeeding.
