Uses:

• Management of high blood pressure (hypertension)

• Reduction in the risk of heart attack and stroke

How It Works:

• Cilnidipine: A calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels by inhibiting the influx of calcium ions, leading to lowered blood pressure.

• Telmisartan: An angiotensin II receptor blocker that prevents the action of angiotensin II, a substance that narrows blood vessels, thereby aiding in blood pressure reduction.

Dosage:

• Take one tablet daily, with or without food.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not chew or crush.

• Follow your doctor’s instructions regarding dosage and duration.

Side Effects:

• Common: Dizziness, headache, fatigue, nausea, and swelling of ankles.
