Description

Uses:

• Management of high blood pressure (hypertension)

• Reduction in the risk of heart attack and stroke

How It Works:

• Telmisartan: Relaxes blood vessels by blocking the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that narrows blood vessels.

• Metoprolol Tartrate: Slows down the heart rate by blocking beta-adrenergic receptors, reducing the heart’s workload.

• Chlorthalidone: Increases urine production, helping the body eliminate excess salt and water, thereby reducing blood volume and lowering blood pressure.

Dosage:

• Take one tablet daily, preferably in the morning.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not chew or crush.

• Follow your doctor’s instructions regarding dosage and duration.

Side Effects:

• Common: Dizziness, fatigue, headache, increased urination, and low blood pressure.
