Candid-CL Vaginal Suppositories are manufactured by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd. They are prescribed to treat various types of vaginal infections associated with vaginal discharge. The combination of clindamycin and clotrimazole works synergistically to combat both bacterial and fungal pathogens.

Mechanism of Action:

• Clindamycin: An antibiotic that stops bacterial growth in the vaginal tract by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria.

• Clotrimazole: An antifungal that stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from making their protective covering.

Dosage and Administration:

• Insert one suppository into the vagina at bedtime, preferably using an applicator, for the duration prescribed by your healthcare provider.

• Typically, the treatment duration is 3 to 7 days, depending on the severity of the infection.

Side Effects:
