Description

Candyth 200mg Capsule is a prescription antifungal medication formulated with Itraconazole 200 mg, a broad-spectrum triazole antifungal agent. It is primarily used for treating systemic and superficial fungal infections, including:

• Oral and Throat Infections: Such as oral thrush.

• Vaginal Candidiasis: Commonly known as vaginal yeast infections.

• Skin Infections: Including athlete’s foot, jock itch, and ringworm.

• Nail Infections: Onychomycosis affecting fingernails and toenails.

• Systemic Fungal Infections: Involving internal organs like the lungs.

Itraconazole works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes, thereby disrupting the cell membrane’s integrity and leading to fungal cell death.

 Dosage and Administration

• Administration: Take the capsule orally with food to enhance absorption.

• Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it’s almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose—do not double up.
