CARDIVAS CR-10 – CAP

Description

Cardivas CR-10 Capsule is a controlled-release (CR) formulation containing Carvedilol 10mg, a beta-blocker with alpha-1 blocking properties. This extended-release capsule is designed for once-daily dosing, providing a gradual and consistent release of carvedilol to maintain stable blood levels throughout the day.

It is prescribed for the management of:

• Hypertension (high blood pressure)

• Chronic heart failure

• Stable angina pectoris

• To improve survival and reduce hospitalization after a heart attack

Carvedilol works by blocking beta-adrenergic receptors and alpha-1 receptors, reducing heart rate and dilating blood vessels, thereby decreasing the heart’s workload and improving cardiac output.
