Description

Cardivas CR-20 Capsule is a controlled-release (CR) formulation containing Carvedilol 20mg, a non-selective beta-blocker with alpha-1 blocking activity. The extended-release design allows for gradual and consistent delivery of the drug throughout the day, improving patient compliance and maintaining stable therapeutic effects.

It is prescribed for:

• Hypertension (high blood pressure)

• Chronic heart failure

• Stable angina pectoris

• Reducing cardiovascular risk after a heart attack

Carvedilol works by blocking beta and alpha receptors, which reduces heart rate and relaxes blood vessels, lowering blood pressure and decreasing the workload on the heart.
