CCQ-50 – TAB

Description

CCQ-50 Tablet is a prescription medication containing Clomiphene Citrate 50 mg, which belongs to a class of drugs known as Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulators (SERMs). It is widely used in the treatment of female infertility, particularly in women who are unable to ovulate (anovulation) or have irregular ovulation cycles.

Clomiphene works by blocking estrogen receptors in the hypothalamus, which prompts the release of gonadotropins (FSH and LH), thereby stimulating the ovaries to release an egg (ovulation). This increases the likelihood of conception.

Uses:

• Stimulates ovulation in women with ovulatory disorders

• Treats infertility in women with PCOS

• Part of fertility treatment protocols

Dosage:

• Usually taken for 5 days starting on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th day of the menstrual cycle, as advised by a healthcare provider.

Common Side Effects:

• Hot flashes

• Abdominal discomfort or bloating

• Breast tenderness

• Nausea or vomiting

• Mood swings

• Visual disturbances (rare)

Precautions:

• Not to be used during pregnancy

• Requires close monitoring for ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS)

• Should be used under the supervision of a fertility or gynecological specialist
