Description

Chericof-LS Junior Syrup, manufactured by Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., is a combination medication designed to address respiratory symptoms in children. Each 5 ml of the syrup contains:

• Ambroxol (30 mg): A mucolytic agent that thins and loosens mucus in the airways, making it easier to expel.

• Levosalbutamol (1 mg): A bronchodilator that relaxes the muscles around the airways, helping to open them up and ease breathing.

• Guaifenesin (50 mg): An expectorant that increases the volume of fluid in the airways, reducing the stickiness of mucus and aiding its removal.

Indications:

• Wet (productive) cough

• Bronchitis

• Asthma

• Respiratory infections with mucus

Dosage:

• Children (6–12 years): 5 ml every 8 hours.

• Children (2–6 years): 2.5 ml every 8 hours.
