Description

Composition:

• Sacubitril (49 mg): A neprilysin inhibitor that increases levels of natriuretic peptides, promoting vasodilation and reducing blood pressure.

• Valsartan (51 mg): An angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels and lowers blood pressure.

Mechanism of Action:

The combination of Sacubitril and Valsartan works synergistically to:

• Relax blood vessels, making it easier for the heart to pump blood.

• Reduce fluid retention by lowering blood pressure.

• Decrease the risk of hospitalization and cardiovascular death in heart failure patients.

Uses:

Cidmus 100 mg Tablet is prescribed for:

• Chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction.

Dosage:

The typical starting dose is one tablet taken orally twice daily. The dosage may be adjusted based on individual response and tolerability.

Side Effects:

• Dizziness or lightheadedness.
