CILNY O 20 TABS

Description

CILNY O 20 TABS is a combination drug that contains Cilnidipine (20 mg) and Olmesartan (20 mg), designed to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes the blood vessels by preventing calcium from entering the cells of the heart and blood vessel walls, thereby improving blood flow. Olmesartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that helps widen blood vessels by blocking the action of a hormone called angiotensin II, which narrows blood vessels. Together, these medications work synergistically to lower blood pressure more effectively than either drug alone.

Lowering blood pressure with CILNY O 20 TABS reduces the risk of cardiovascular complications such as heart attacks, strokes, kidney problems, and other blood vessel-related issues. This medication is usually prescribed when monotherapy is insufficient to control blood pressure and is taken once daily under medical supervision. Regular monitoring of blood pressure and kidney function is recommended during treatment.
