CILODOC – 100 – TAB

Description

CILODOC 100 Tablet is manufactured by Lupin Ltd and is available in a strip of 10 tablets. Each tablet contains Cilostazol 100 mg, which works by inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 3 (PDE3). This inhibition increases the levels of cyclic AMP (cAMP) in platelets and vascular smooth muscle cells, leading to vasodilation and inhibition of platelet aggregation. The result is improved blood flow and oxygen delivery to the muscles, alleviating symptoms of intermittent claudication.

Uses:

• Intermittent Claudication: Relieves cramping pain in the legs during walking due to inadequate blood supply.

• Peripheral Vascular Diseases: Improves symptoms associated with reduced blood flow in the limbs.

Side Effects:

Common side effects may include:

• Headache

• Dizziness

• Diarrhea

• Abdominal discomfort

• Nausea

• Loss of appetite

• Swelling of the ankles, feet, or face

• Skin rash or itching

Precautions:
