Indications

Cinatop Cream is indicated for the topical treatment of the following fungal infections:

• Tinea pedis (athlete’s foot)

• Tinea corporis (ringworm)

• Tinea cruris (jock itch)

• Candidiasis (yeast infections)

• Tinea versicolor (pityriasis versicolor)

Mechanism of Action

Ciclopirox exerts its antifungal effects by:

• Disrupting fungal cell membrane integrity

• Inhibiting the synthesis of essential macromolecules like DNA, RNA, and proteins within fungal cells

• Interfering with the transport of essential elements in fungal cells

These actions collectively inhibit fungal growth and replication, leading to the resolution of infection.

Dosage & Administration

• Application: Apply a thin layer of Cinatop Cream to the affected area and surrounding skin once or twice daily, as directed by a healthcare professional.

• Duration: Continue treatment for the full prescribed duration, even if symptoms improve earlier, to prevent recurrence.

• Precautions: Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes. Wash hands thoroughly after application unless hands are the treated area.

Side Effects

Common side effects may include:

• Itching

• Redness

• Burning or stinging sensation at the application site

• Dryness or scaling of the skin
