Description

Cintodac Tablet is a prescription medication that combines two active ingredients:

• Cinitapride (3 mg): A gastroprokinetic agent that enhances gastrointestinal motility by stimulating acetylcholine release, aiding in the forward movement of food through the digestive tract.

• Pantoprazole (40 mg): A proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid production by inhibiting the proton pump, providing relief from acid-related discomfort.

Therapeutic Uses:

• Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): Reduces acid reflux and associated symptoms like heartburn and regurgitation.

• Functional Gastrointestinal Motility Disorders: Improves gastric emptying and alleviates symptoms such as bloating and nausea.

• Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: Manages excessive stomach acid production associated with this rare condition.

Dosage and Administration:

• Typical Dosage: One tablet daily, taken 30–60 minutes before a meal.

• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not chew or crush.

• Duration: Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions regarding the duration of treatment.

Side Effects:

Common side effects may include headache, diarrhea, abdominal pain, flatulence, and dizziness. These are usually mild and transient. If any side effects persist or worsen, consult your healthcare provider.
