CLARIBID – SYP

Description

CLARIBID – SYP is an oral suspension formulated with Clarithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic. It is commonly prescribed for pediatric patients to treat various bacterial infections, such as:

• Respiratory Tract Infections: Including pneumonia, bronchitis, and pharyngitis.

• Ear Infections: Such as otitis media.

• Skin Infections: Including cellulitis and impetigo.

• Sinus Infections: Sinusitis.

Mechanism of Action: Clarithromycin works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby stopping the growth of bacteria.

Dosage and Administration:

• Typical Dosage: The usual dose for children is 7.5 mg/kg every 12 hours for 10 days.

• Administration: Shake the bottle well before use. Administer the prescribed amount using the provided measuring device. It can be taken with or without food.

Precautions:

• Allergy: Do not use if allergic to clarithromycin or other macrolide antibiotics.
