Description

Clavam 625mg Tablet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic containing Amoxicillin (500 mg) and Clavulanic Acid (125 mg). Amoxicillin is a penicillin-type antibiotic that inhibits the growth of bacteria by preventing cell wall formation. Clavulanic Acid works by inhibiting beta-lactamase enzymes produced by resistant bacteria, thus enhancing the effectiveness of Amoxicillin. This combination is commonly prescribed for moderate to severe infections of the respiratory tract (like bronchitis and pneumonia), urinary tract, skin and soft tissues, bones, joints, and dental infections. The tablet should be taken with food to minimize gastrointestinal side effects, and it’s essential to complete the full prescribed course to prevent bacterial resistance.
