Description

Clavix-AS 75mg Tablet combines two active ingredients:

• Clopidogrel (75 mg): An antiplatelet agent that prevents platelets from clumping together, reducing the formation of harmful blood clots.

• Aspirin (75 mg): A nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that also inhibits platelet aggregation, further decreasing the risk of clot formation.

This combination therapy is used in patients with cardiovascular conditions such as a history of heart attack, stroke, or peripheral arterial disease, and those undergoing procedures like stent placement. By inhibiting platelet aggregation, Clavix-AS 75mg Tablet helps maintain smooth blood flow and reduces the likelihood of clot-related complications.

Dosage and Administration:

• Take one tablet orally once daily, preferably with food to minimize gastrointestinal discomfort.

• Swallow the tablet whole; do not crush or chew.

• It’s important to take the medication at the same time each day to maintain consistent blood levels.

• If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered. If it’s almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with the regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Common Side Effects:
While taking Clavix-AS 75mg Tablet, you may experience:

• Increased risk of bleeding (e.g., nosebleeds, easy bruising)

• Gastrointestinal issues such as indigestion, nausea, abdominal pain, or diarrhea

• Headache

• Dizziness or lightheadedness

• Muscle pain or weakness

• Stomach pain

• Indigestion

• Nosebleeds

Most side effects are mild and temporary. However, if you experience unusual or prolonged bleeding, contact your doctor immediately.

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor if you have a history of bleeding disorders, liver or kidney disease, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

• Avoid activities that may increase the risk of bleeding or injury.
