Clohex Oral Rinse, manufactured by Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd., is a therapeutic mouthwash formulated with 0.2% chlorhexidine gluconate, a potent antiseptic agent. It is primarily used to manage and prevent various oral health conditions, including:

• Gingivitis: Inflammation of the gums characterized by redness, swelling, and bleeding.

• Mouth Ulcers: Painful sores inside the mouth.

• Oral Thrush: A fungal infection in the mouth.

• Denture Sores: Irritations caused by dentures.

• Dental Plaque: A sticky film of bacteria on teeth.

The active ingredient, chlorhexidine gluconate, works by disrupting the cell membranes of bacteria, effectively killing them and preventing their proliferation. This action helps in reducing plaque formation, controlling gum inflammation, and promoting healing of oral tissues.

Usage Instructions:
