Description

CLOPITORVA 20MG CAPSULE combines two active ingredients:

• Atorvastatin (20 mg): A statin that inhibits HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme involved in cholesterol production in the liver. This leads to a decrease in low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol and triglycerides, while increasing high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol levels.

• Clopidogrel (75 mg): An antiplatelet agent that prevents platelets from aggregating, thereby reducing the formation of blood clots.

This combination therapy is indicated for:

• Hyperlipidemia: To lower elevated cholesterol and triglyceride levels in patients when a low-fat diet and lifestyle changes alone have failed.

• Prevention of cardiovascular events: To reduce the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and other cardiovascular complications in patients with or at high risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.

Dosage and Administration: Take CLOPITORVA 20MG CAPSULE as prescribed by your healthcare provider, usually once daily with or without food.

Side Effects: Common side effects may include muscle pain, joint pain, diarrhea, nausea, headache, and stomach pain. Serious side effects can include liver dysfunction and bleeding complications.
