Description

CLOPIVAS 75MG Tablets consist of clopidogrel bisulfate, a potent antiplatelet agent that works by inhibiting platelet aggregation, thereby reducing the risk of harmful blood clots. It is commonly prescribed to prevent heart attacks, strokes, and other cardiovascular complications in patients with a history of coronary artery disease, recent myocardial infarction, ischemic stroke, or peripheral arterial disease.

Clopidogrel belongs to the class of thienopyridines and selectively inhibits the binding of adenosine diphosphate (ADP) to its platelet receptor, which prevents activation of the glycoprotein IIb/IIIa complex, essential for platelet aggregation.

Uses:

• Prevention of atherosclerotic events such as myocardial infarction and ischemic stroke

• Prevention of blood clots in patients with acute coronary syndrome

• Reducing the risk of cardiovascular events in patients with peripheral artery disease

Dosage:

Precautions:
