Description

Colimex Suspension is formulated to address various gastrointestinal issues in children. The active ingredients include:

• Dicyclomine: An antispasmodic agent that relaxes the smooth muscles of the stomach and intestines, helping to alleviate cramps and spasms.

• Dimethicone: An anti-foaming agent that reduces gas bubbles in the stomach and intestines, easing bloating and discomfort.

Common Uses:

• Abdominal Pain: Effective in relieving pain caused by muscle spasms in the gastrointestinal tract.

• Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS): Helps manage symptoms such as bloating, cramps, and discomfort associated with IBS.

• Colic: Provides relief from colicky pain in infants and children.

Dosage and Administration:

• Administration: Administer the prescribed dose orally using a measuring cup or dropper.

• Timing: It can be taken with or without food, but it’s advisable to administer it at a consistent time each day.

• Duration: The treatment duration should not exceed 2 weeks unless directed by a healthcare professional.
