Description

Cortel M 50 Tablet ER is manufactured by Corona Remedies Pvt Ltd and is commonly prescribed for patients with high blood pressure, especially when monotherapy is insufficient. The tablet contains:

• Telmisartan (40 mg): An ARB that relaxes blood vessels by blocking the effects of angiotensin II, thereby lowering blood pressure.

• Metoprolol Succinate (50 mg): A beta-blocker that decreases heart rate and myocardial oxygen demand.

Together, these components work synergistically to lower blood pressure, thereby decreasing the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and kidney damage associated with hypertension.
