CROCIN SYP

Description

Crocin 120 Suspension is a pediatric analgesic and antipyretic medication that combines 120 mg of paracetamol per 5 ml dose. It is specifically designed for children aged 1 to 5 years to alleviate mild to moderate pain and reduce fever. The strawberry flavor enhances palatability, making it easier for children to take. Paracetamol works by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins, chemicals in the body that promote inflammation, pain, and fever.

Key Uses:

• Relieves pain associated with teething, immunization, earaches, and headaches.

• Reduces fever caused by infections or vaccinations.

• Eases discomfort from minor cold and flu symptoms.

Dosage Instructions:

• 10–12 kg: 6–7 ml every 4–6 hours (maximum 4 doses in 24 hours).

• 12–14 kg: 7–8 ml every 4–6 hours (maximum 4 doses in 24 hours).

• 14–18 kg: 8–11 ml every 4–6 hours (maximum 4 doses in 24 hours).

• 18–20 kg: 11–12 ml every 4–6 hours (maximum 4 doses in 24 hours).

*Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours. Consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist beyond 3 days for fever or 5 days for pain.

Precautions:

• Not recommended for children under 1 month of age.

• Use with caution in children with liver or kidney problems, malnutrition, or dehydration.

• Avoid concurrent use with other paracetamol-containing products to prevent overdose.

• Contains sorbitol; not suitable for children with hereditary fructose intolerance.
