Description

Crotorax HC Cream is a dual-action topical medication that combines an antiparasitic agent, Crotamiton, with a mild corticosteroid, Hydrocortisone. Crotamiton works by killing the scabies mites and their eggs, while Hydrocortisone reduces inflammation, redness, and itching of the skin. This combination provides effective relief from the discomfort associated with scabies and other pruritic skin conditions.

Common Uses:

• Scabies: Eliminates scabies mites and alleviates associated itching.

• Eczema and Dermatitis: Reduces inflammation and itching.

• Insect Bites and Stings: Provides relief from itching and irritation.

Dosage and Application:

• Adults and Children Over 10 Years: Apply a thin layer of the cream to the entire body from the neck down, excluding the face and mucous membranes. Leave the cream on for 8–12 hours before washing off. A second application may be necessary after one week.

• Children Under 10 Years: Use only under medical supervision.

Precautions:

• Allergy: Do not use if allergic to Crotamiton, Hydrocortisone, or any other ingredients in the cream.

• Infections: Avoid use on bacterial, viral, or fungal skin infections.

• Skin Conditions: Not recommended for use on open wounds or broken skin.

• Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

• Children: Not recommended for children under 10 years unless prescribed by a doctor.
