Description

Crousho Gel belongs to the class of antifungal agents known as imidazoles. Its active ingredient, Ketoconazole, interferes with the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes, leading to the destruction of the fungal cell and cessation of its growth.

Common Uses:

• Athlete’s Foot (Tinea Pedis): Fungal infection between the toes or on the feet.

• Ringworm (Tinea Corporis): Circular, red, itchy patches on the skin.

• Jock Itch (Tinea Cruris): Red, itchy rash in the groin area.

• Seborrheic Dermatitis: Flaky, scaly patches on the scalp, face, or upper chest.

• Pityriasis Versicolor: Discolored patches on the skin.

Dosage and Application:

• Application: Clean and dry the affected area before applying a thin layer of the gel.

• Frequency: Typically applied once or twice daily, as directed by a healthcare professional.

• Duration: Treatment duration varies; continue using the medication for the prescribed period, even if symptoms improve, to ensure complete eradication of the infection.

Side Effects:

• Common: Burning sensation, itching, redness, or irritation at the application site.

• Less common: Dryness, peeling, or blistering of the skin.
