Description

Ctasorin-DM 10mg/500mg/100mg Tablet is prescribed to adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus to help achieve better glycemic control. The combination of Dapagliflozin, Metformin, and Sitagliptin addresses multiple mechanisms involved in glucose regulation:

• Dapagliflozin is an SGLT2 inhibitor that increases glucose excretion through urine, thereby lowering blood glucose levels.

• Metformin reduces hepatic glucose production, decreases intestinal glucose absorption, and enhances insulin sensitivity.

• Sitagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that increases insulin release and decreases glucagon levels in the blood, leading to improved glucose control.

This combination therapy is typically used when monotherapy or dual therapy with other antidiabetic medications does not provide adequate blood sugar control. It should be used in conjunction with a healthy diet and regular physical activity.
